David Ratliff
Founder
From a young age, David started following his dad around building sites and watching him install pipes, toilets, sinks, and faucets. He knew then what business he wanted to be in. He earned his Master Plumbing License at the age of 21 and hasn’t looked back. He also carries the following endorsements: Master MRFPSS, Master WSPS, Master Med Gas, and Responsible Master Plumber. License # 13549.

Andrea Harden
General Manager & Responsible Master Plumber
Andrea has been an integral part of Midway Plumbing since 2012, starting as a Customer Service Representative before quickly advancing to Dispatcher, Office Manager, and ultimately General Manager. As a dedicated leader, she oversees operations and ensures the highest standards of service. Andrea also holds the title of Responsible Master Plumber (License #MRP 43683), bringing both expertise and experience to the team.

Shannon Wester
Accountant - Comptroller
Shannon started with Midway Plumbing in 2015. She handles the day-to-day invoicing, payables, and money management for the company. She has been in accounting for over 25 years. When she isn’t crunching numbers, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Wayne Line
Tradesman Plumber & Lead Cured In Place Technician- License # T-2899
John (Wayne) Line has been keeping things flowing smoothly as a Plumber/Liner Tech since 2005—a milestone he’s proud of! John loves tackling the unique challenges that come with lining and has a knack for breaking down complex systems into easy-to-understand terms. He’s passionate about doing right by every customer and making sure their problems are fixed for good. Outside of work, you’ll find John catching a game, cruising on his motorcycle, or hitting the road to explore new places—he’s visited several national parks and is always ready for the next adventure.

Vance Williams
Journeyman Plumber # J-29230
With 35 years of plumbing know-how and a proud tenure at Midway Plumbing since 2006, Vance Williams is the go-to guy for solving even the trickiest plumbing puzzles. Customers love his clear explanations, tidy work, and knack for troubleshooting the toughest repairs. Vance believes in giving customers all the info they need, so there are never any surprises—except maybe how neat he keeps his workspace! When he’s not wrangling wrenches (or looking for the ones he’s misplaced), you’ll find Vance enjoying time with his family, his faith, and his guitar. He’s an outdoorsman at heart, always up for fishing, hunting, or tackling a new DIY project at home—often with a pack of loyal dogs by his side.

Jason Sherman
Journeyman Plumber
Jason Sherman joined Midway Plumbing in 2025, bringing nine years of journeyman plumbing experience and a genuine passion for helping others. Known for his clear communication, tidy work, and knack for solving tough plumbing puzzles, Jason is always eager to learn and grow in the trade. He believes in keeping clients in the loop every step of the way. When he’s not on the job, you’ll find Jason strumming his guitar, tackling DIY projects, or spending time with his bustling family—four kids, three dogs, and two cats! A longtime volunteer firefighter in Winters, Jason knows a thing or two about handling emergencies. And if you hear old Southern Gospel music drifting from his workspace, you’ll know Jason is in his element, doing what he loves.

Renee
Dispatcher – Apprentice #131654
Renee joined Midway Plumbing in April 2021, starting as a Customer Service Representative and quickly proving her dedication and expertise. Through hard work and a commitment to exceptional service, she advanced to the role of Dispatcher, where she plays a key role in ensuring efficient scheduling and seamless operations. Outside of work, Renee enjoys spending quality time with her children and attending concerts.

Alex Salas
Tradesman Plumber- License # T-10186
Alex Salas is a plumbing tradesman with three years of experience at Midway Plumbing. Alex is known for his creative problem-solving skills—there’s no plumbing puzzle too tricky for him. He’s dedicated to making sure every customer is happy, always going the extra mile to get the job done right. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Alex has called Abilene home since 2015. When he’s not tackling leaks and clogs, you can find him hitting the gym, catching the latest movies, or diving into his latest DIY project. Amazingly, he can find time for all those extra-curricular activities, since he has six children, and another on the way! His two cattle dogs help by keeping everyone rounded up and on track.

Jay Jones
Warehouse- Apprentice #342748
Jay started with Midway Plumbing in 2023. He handles all the maintenance of vehicles and equipment. He carries his apprentice card to help technicians and get some hands-on training. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves all his grandchildren.

Zachariah Quinonez
Tradesman License #8167
Zachariah Quinonez joined Midway Plumbing in 2025, bringing eight years of tradesman plumbing experience and an unbeatable positive attitude. For Zachariah, the best part of the job is turning something “not working” into “working” and bringing customers peace of mind. When he’s not solving plumbing mysteries, you’ll find him strumming his guitar, singing, or catching a concert. Zachariah loves the great outdoors—whether he’s camping, hiking, fishing, or hitting the road to explore somewhere new. If there’s an adventure to be had, you can bet he’s up for it!

Todd Bruce

Todd Bruce joined Midway Plumbing in 2025, bringing 10 years of hands-on experience to the team. A Wyoming native now calling Abilene home, Todd specializes in installing both standard and tankless water heaters—and nothing beats the satisfaction of fixing things right the first time. Customers appreciate his professionalism, tidy work, and talent for making plumbing problems easy to understand. Honest and full of integrity, Todd treats every job with the care he’d give his own home. When he’s off the clock, you’ll likely find him tinkering with engines, riding motorcycles, cheering on car races, or relaxing with his wife and two sons. He’s also handy with woodworking tools (when he’s not working on cars, that is!).

Ryder Ratliff
Apprentice
Ryder Ratliff has been a plumbing apprentice at Midway Plumbing since 2023. Ryder’s favorite part of the job is meeting new people and lending a helping hand—he’s all about making sure every customer feels happy and cared for. Whether he’s squeezing into the tiniest crawl space (a special talent!) or perfecting his woodworking skills, Ryder brings creativity and enthusiasm to everything he does. Off the clock, you’ll find him out hunting, fishing, playing golf, tinkering with cars, or whipping up something tasty in the kitchen. Wherever he is, Ryder’s always building something—solutions, friendships, or a great meal.

Elijah Elizondo
Apprentice
Elijah Elizondo has been keeping things flowing smoothly at Midway Plumbing for two years, but for him, plumbing is more than just a job—it’s a way to help protect people’s health and homes. Committed to doing things right the first time, Elijah takes pride in tidy work, friendly service, and solving tricky plumbing problems. He’s always happy to break down how things work in simple terms, making plumbing a little less mysterious for everyone. When he’s not on the job, Elijah loves spending time outdoors, firing up the grill, or smoking some serious BBQ. He and his wife of ten years have a daughter (with another on the way!) and a loyal dog who’s always ready for the next adventure.

Julien Maldonado
Apprentice
Julien Maldonado joined Midway Plumbing as an Apprentice in 2024 and is eager to soak up everything the plumbing trade has to offer. With a background in HVAC and a reputation for attention to detail, Julien is known for leaving every workspace cleaner than he found it—a trait his coworkers truly appreciate. Off the clock, Julien’s usually on the basketball court, hanging out with family and friends, or perfecting his latest BBQ creation (he’s tried more hot sauces than he can count!). He’s also got a four-legged canine “supervisor” at home who makes sure he stays on top of his game.

Tyler Ray
Apprentice
Tyler Ray is a plumbing apprentice with two years of hands-on experience at Midway Plumbing. Tyler thrives on solving tricky plumbing puzzles and finds joy in bringing comfort back to families in need. When he’s not fixing leaks or perfecting his welding skills, you’ll find him rocking out on his guitar, catching live music at festivals, or cheering for his favorite sports teams. Life is never dull at home with two dogs, two cats, and plenty of outdoor adventures to keep him busy. Tyler is always up for a new challenge—and a bit of fun along the way!

Meet Our President
Our company president is David E. Ratliff, who founded Midway Plumbing in August 1983. David is a licensed Master Plumber and has overseen the growth of his plumbing company since its start. Under David’s guidance, Midway Plumbing has grown to become the largest commercial and residential plumbing service in the Big Country. David is a member of Elevate, a group of prominent local business owners who provide helpful services to residents and businesses in the area.
